Within events the focus is on the experiences. For experience the Goossen and Mazursky Experience model will be used. Experiences says something about the whole event, first of all the expectations, the real experience and after all the evaluation.
The practices for events which have been chosen are the Gay Pride and the Queen day.
Both events gives a feeling and experience of solidarity and involvement with each other.
For Gay pride, this is because of the same feelings of a same gender. Furthermore for Queen day there is cohesion, because of their pride for their nationality. (Retrieved from http://www.iamsterdam.com)

Goossens and Mazursky created an experience model, which sketched the relationship between expectations, information, perception and satisfaction. This model is divided into three phases, the pre-exposure, the direct exposure and the post-exposure.
These phases tells one about the experience before, during and after the participation. The post-exposure can lead to disconfirmation, satisfaction, dissatisfaction and confirmation. [ Goossens and Mazursky]
