Two examples of the sport sectors, which have been chosen are the Deutchser Fussball-bund and the McFit. The theme of the sport sector is experience. 

 

The Deutscher Fussball-bund is the national team of the world champion at the moment. Furthermore, they have the best youth academie in the world. The DFB promotes to children and teenagers to join a football club. (Retrieved from: http://www.dfb.de)

 

The second example is the McFit. McFit is a fitness center in Germany. Here one can get a personal coach or join group courses. According to Pine and Gillmore, business need to create experiences, which are memorable for the customers. The experience economy concept suggests that we need to focus on four areas of experience: entertainment, education, aesthetic and escapism. Moreover, we need to provide leisure experiences, which allow the consumer to engage, ranging from absorption through to immersion in the experience. (Stephen J.
